Who can attend: anyone age 5 and above. Please note that the child has to be enrolled in KG or higher in the academic year of education. You will be requested to provide proof of enrollment. If your child is in 7th grade, we recommend reviewing the SAFL program below on this page.
When:
Saturdays, 9:00 am to 10:45 am.
Classes for 2026-2027 begin on Saturday, August 15th, 2026, and end on Saturday, May 22nd, 2027, with an annual day on Sunday, May 23rd, 2027.
Classes are for 90 minutes. However, please do not plan for back-to-back courses before and after school. Allow for on-time arrival and commute times. Sometimes, a teacher may require the child to stay back for additional feedback or meet with the parent.

Fees: $400/year. Sibling $300/year. Books will be available for purchase at an additional cost at the Kendram. The cost of books ranges from $15-$30, depending on the level.
$50 Early discount per child if registration is completed before June 5th 2026.

Who can attend: Classes are intended and arranged for residents from the cities of Fremont, Union City, Newark, Hayward, and Milpitas in Northern California. Everyone is welcome to join as per convenience.
When: Adult classes take place at the same time as children's classes. 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM.

Fees: $100 for every enrolled adult. $50 for the second adult in the family. Fees are for the entire year.

SAFL is a three-year online distance education program for 8 - 12 grade students who wish to learn Samskritam (aka Sanskrit). As of July 2016, the SAFL program has been accredited as a supplementary education program by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC - http://www.acswasc.org), one of the accrediting agencies in the United States. SAFL courses have also been approved and listed in the NCAA high school course catalog (enter Samskrita Bharati in the High School Name box and click the Search button) since November 2018.
Who can attend: Children in 8th grade and above. No prior Samskritam knowledge is required.
When: Schedule varies. Classes start with a mandatory in-person summer camp in June. This is a 3-year program. The next in-person camp will be in June 2025.
Where: This is an online program.

Where : Self- Study. While it is possible for students to prepare for the exams through Self-Study, DLP conducts tutorial classes for each level that help prepare a student for the exams. The tutorial classes provide a structured classroom environment.
